Anti-a-Synuclein (Ab-136) Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com as a research-grade rabbit polyclonal reagent, this affinity-purified antibody specifically recognises a-Synuclein at the region surrounding amino acids 134–138 (Q-D-Y-E-P). It was raised in rabbits against a synthetic peptide–KLH conjugate and subsequently purified by epitope-specific affinity chromatography, enabling detection of endogenous levels of total α-Synuclein protein. The unconjugated antibody is supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, and is offered in a 50 µL format suitable for western blotting (recommended dilution 1:500–1:1000) and immunofluorescence (1:100–1:200). With a predicted molecular weight of approximately 18 kDa, the reagent cross-reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples and should be stored at −20 °C for long-term preservation or at 4 °C for short-term use.
