The 9G8 protein, also referred to as SRSF7 or SRp20, is a member of the serine/arginine-rich (SR) family of splicing factors that regulate constitutive and alternative pre-mRNA splicing. This rabbit polyclonal reagent targets 9G8 for detection across both human and mouse samples, and is supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated preparation in a 100 µl volume.

Validated applications include Western blot and immunohistochemistry, making it useful for studies examining spliceosomal assembly, exon inclusion decisions, and stress-responsive changes in SR protein localization. The polyclonal format increases the likelihood of recognizing multiple epitopes on the target, which can be helpful when probing post-translationally modified forms of 9G8 or working with samples where epitope masking compromises monoclonal binding.

Reactivity is reported for human and mouse, with the unconjugated format offering flexibility to pair the antibody with custom secondary detection chemistries such as HRP, fluorescent dyes, or biotin-based systems depending on experimental design. Storage follows standard polyclonal antibody handling, with refrigeration recommended to retain activity across multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
