Description
From Antibodies.com, this mouse monoclonal antibody is raised against α-SMA and is supplied unconjugated. It is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications and reacts with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples.
The antibody was generated using a synthetic peptide immunogen and detects endogenous α-SMA protein. It is supplied at a concentration of 1 mg/mL in PBS, pH 7.4, containing 0.02% sodium azide as preservative and 50% glycerol. The antibody was affinity-purified from antiserum by affinity chromatography. It is shipped at 4°C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles.
