The 5MC-CD clone from Antibodies.com is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody raised against 5-methylcytosine and biotinylated for direct signal amplification in nucleic acid detection workflows. Supplied as a liquid reagent at 50 µg per vial, it binds single-stranded DNA containing methylated cytosine residues, enabling visualization of CpG methylation patterns in fixed cells by ICC/IF and on Southern Blot membranes.
