Anti-4E-BP1 (Ab-64) Antibody

Offered by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent targets eukaryotic translation initiation factor 4E-binding protein 1, also known as 4E-BP1, PHAS-I or EIF4EBP1. It was raised against a synthesized non-phosphopeptide derived from human 4E-BP1 around the phosphorylation site of serine 65 (R-N-S(p)-P-V) and is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by epitope-specific affinity chromatography. The antibody is supplied as a 50 µl aliquot at a concentration of 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCl) without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺, supplemented with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol; the host species is rabbit and the immunoglobulin isotype is rabbit IgG. The conjugate is unconjugated, the clonality is polyclonal, and the reagent detects endogenous levels of total 4E-BP1 protein. It is validated for Western blotting (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) and reacts with human, mouse and rat samples.
