Anti-14-3-3 θ/YWHAQ Antibody

Rabbit polyclonal antibody to 14-3-3 ζ/YWHAQ (phospho-S232), offered by Antibodies.com as a primary antibody validated for Western blot (WB) applications. The unconjugated antibody is raised in rabbit and reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human YWHAQ around the phosphorylation site of Serine 232, and the reagent specifically detects endogenous levels of YWHAQ protein only when phosphorylated at Ser232. It was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, with purity greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE. The associated target, 14-3-3 θ, has a molecular weight of approximately 28 kDa.

The product is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.3. One scientific image accompanies this reagent.
