Anti-14-3-3 ζ (phospho-S58) Antibody

This polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit and targets 14-3-3 ζ phosphorylated at Serine 58. It is supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2. The antibody has been validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) and reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples.

The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human 14-3-3 ζ surrounding the Serine 58 phosphorylation site. The reagent specifically detects endogenous levels of 14-3-3 protein zeta/delta only when phosphorylated at Ser58. It was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with reported purity greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE. The target protein has a molecular weight of approximately 28 kDa.
