Anti-11β-HSD1 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified rabbit polyclonal reagent targets 11β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase type 1 (11β-HSD1) and is supplied as a 50 µl liquid formulation at 1 mg/ml in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide. The antibody was raised against a synthesized peptide derived from the N-terminal region of human 11β-HSD1 and was subsequently affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, allowing it to recognize endogenous levels of the target protein in unfixed samples. It is unconjugated and of polyclonal clonality, making it well suited to common immunoassay workflows, with validated applications in Western blotting (WB) and ELISA. The reagent has been verified to cross-react with Human, Mouse and Rat samples, supporting broad utility across rodent and human research models studying glucocorticoid metabolism, adipose tissue biology, hepatic function and related endocrine pathways.
