Anti-11β-HSD1 Antibody

11β-HSD1 (11β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase type 1) is a NADPH-dependent oxidoreductase best known for converting cortisone into active cortisol, making it a focal target in studies of glucocorticoid metabolism, metabolic syndrome, hepatic gluconeogenesis, and adipose-tissue inflammation. Researchers investigating obesity, insulin resistance, type 2 diabetes, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, and central glucocorticoid signaling in the hippocampus routinely profile this enzyme at the protein level.
