Red blood cell lysis reagent for flow cytometry and hematology workflows. This aqueous ammonium chloride (NH4Cl) solution from STEMCELL Technologies lyses erythrocytes in anticoagulated whole blood, bone marrow, and other hematopoietic samples prior to immunophenotyping and downstream antibody staining. The 100 mL bottle format supports routine laboratory use, where working aliquots can be prepared for daily processing of clinical research samples. Typical protocols incubate samples at room temperature for several minutes, after which the white blood cell pellet is washed and resuspended for flow cytometry acquisition. Contains no fixative, allowing viable leukocytes to be recovered for downstream functional assays, including intracellular cytokine staining.
