AdnaTest LungCancerDetect

A QIAGEN assay for the detection of lung cancer–associated transcripts from circulating tumor cells (CTCs), positioned within a CTC collection, isolation, and characterization workflow. The procedure enriches CTCs from peripheral blood and applies targeted mRNA profiling using multiplex RT-PCR to identify lung cancer–associated markers, and is separately described as supporting detection of EMT and lung cancer–related gene expression by endpoint PCR.

Designed for research and translational studies in minimal residual disease, monitoring, and biomarker discovery, the product is reported to provide sensitive detection of tumor-derived transcripts, a streamlined workflow for blood samples, and compatibility with downstream PCR and sequencing confirmation.
