AdnaTest BreastCancerDetect

A QIAGEN immunomagnetic enrichment and mRNA-based detection solution designed to identify breast cancer–associated circulating tumour cells (CTCs). The workflow relies on the selective capture of epithelial cells from peripheral blood using antibody-coated magnetic beads, followed by molecular profiling to detect tumour-associated transcripts.

The kit is intended to be paired with downstream RT‑PCR or qPCR panels for multiplex marker analysis and is supplied with process controls and validated reagents for research applications only. Within the brand's CTC workflow, this detection reagent is used after CTC enrichment to assess breast cancer–related gene expression by RT‑PCR from enriched CTCs.
