Description
QIAGEN offers a practical alternative to standard collection tubes for collecting flow-through during spin-column procedures. These Waste Tubes are nonsterile polypropylene 2 ml tubes designed as collection vessels for waste fractions generated during centrifugation of spin columns.
The tubes are made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic, supporting a more eco-friendly workflow while still allowing the same tube to be reused throughout the protocol without causing cross-contamination. They are supplied as a component of all QIAwave Kits. For every binding and washing step, the flow-through can be poured into a waste bottle and the spin column returned to the same Waste Tube to continue with the protocol.
