Solution PM3 (36 ml)

A QIAGEN consumable binding reagent supplied as part of the PowerMicrobiome RNA Isolation Kit workflow, used during total RNA purification from stool, gut material and other inhibitor-rich samples. Solution PM3 sits in the Primary Sample Technology portfolio and is classed within the Consumables budget group.

In the documented protocol, Solution PM3 functions as the binding solution that captures the total nucleic acid content of the cleared lysate prior to on-column DNase digestion. The protocol instructs the user to add 650 µl of Solution PM3 to the supernatant, together with 650 µl of Solution PM4, before loading the mixture onto the Spin Filter. Like the other non-enzyme kit components, Solution PM3 is stored at room temperature (15-30°C).
