Deparaffinization Solution (16ml)

Optimized for deparaffinization prior to DNA or RNA purification, QIAGEN's Deparaffinization Solution is designed for use with formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections. After addition to an FFPE sample, the solution remains on the sample while proteinase K digestion is carried out, eliminating the need to pellet the FFPE sample or to remove paraffin-containing supernatant. The solution is non-odorous and can be easily tracked using its blue tracer dye. It forms part of the EpiTect Plus Bisulfite Kit and is also compatible with the QIAamp DNA FFPE Tissue Kit, RNeasy FFPE Kit, miRNeasy FFPE Kit, QIAsymphony RNA Kit, and QIAsymphony DNA Mini Kit.
