SoliSD™ Bsm DNA Polymerase Kit

From Solis BioDyne, this isothermal amplification kit is built around SoliSD™ Bsm DNA Polymerase, whose sequence originates from Bacillus smithii and shows functional similarity to other Bst and Bsm polymerases. It is intended for loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP), an alternative to PCR that has been developed for fast, simple, and sensitive DNA detection.

The enzyme exhibits high strand displacement activity, which makes it ideal for LAMP application. Solis BioDyne supplies the Bsm DNA Polymerase based kits in a 5-vial format, where the composition gives flexibility for developing an isothermal amplification assay. Thanks to the Stability TAG technology, these enzymes and master mixes show no activity loss up to 1 month at room temperature.
