Repli-g sc Cryo-Protect Reagent (15ml)

This cryoprotective reagent from QIAGEN is a ready-to-use liquid formulation designed to preserve single cells, small samples and sensitive nucleic acid preparations prior to freezing and long-term storage. It is optimized to minimize ice-crystal damage and to preserve sample integrity for downstream single-cell whole genome amplification and sequencing workflows.

Included with the REPLI-g Advanced DNA Single Cell Kits, the reagent protects DNA from damage during single cell collection and long-term storage. In manufacturer testing, single cells isolated with the QIAscout and stored in REPLI-g Single Cell Cryo-Protect Reagent at –20°C for either 2 days or 2 weeks showed a reduced rate of single allelic dropout after WGA compared with single cells stored in single cell PBS, demonstrating the protective effect of the reagent against freezing- and storage-related damage to single cells and their DNA.
