QIAseq miRNA 96 Index IL Auto A (384)

This QIAGEN index kit supports the QIAseq miRNA Library Kit workflow for microRNA and small RNA library preparation on Illumina next-generation sequencing platforms. It uses a unique dual index (UDI) configuration, supplied as a liquid in a pre-plated format for convenient automated use, as part of the QIAseq Sample to Insight solution for differential expression analysis and novel miRNA discovery.

The associated library prep chemistry is optimized to generate robust, miRNA-specific libraries while minimizing reaction biases and eliminating adapter dimers. Unique Molecular Indices (UMIs) tag each miRNA molecule at an early stage to eliminate PCR and sequencing bias. The workflow is compatible with Illumina instruments including the NovaSeq and recommends 5–10 million reads per sample.

For data consistency, libraries prepared with unique dual indices should only be compared with other libraries generated using the same type of indices.
