QIAseq 8-Unique Dual Index Set B (48)

QIAGEN's QIAseq Index Kits are now offered in a unique dual bar-coded format tailored for QIAseq Targeted Panel sequencing on Illumina platforms. These unique dual-indexed adapters support sample multiplexing within QIAseq Targeted NGS workflows, including the QIAseq Targeted DNA, QIAseq RNAscan and QIAseq Immune Repertoire RNA Library Kits. The kit can process a total of 48 samples and represents the 2nd of 2 sets required for multiplexing up to 16 samples.

Compatible only with Illumina instruments and intended exclusively for QIAseq targeted NGS applications, the unique dual indexes (UDIs) combine with unique molecular indices (UMIs) to deliver a high level of process safety. This design mitigates "index hopping" and mis-assignment of reads, helping ensure confidence in sequencing data. The kit is not suitable for QIAseq library prep kits that utilize Y-shaped adapter styles.

Kit contents include the UDIN-8BA Adapter Plate containing 8 molecularly indexed adapters (each index usable for up to 6 samples), the UDIS-8BK Dried Primer Plate with 6 index primer arrays for PCR amplification and sample indexing, IL-Forward Primer, QIAseq A Read1 Primer I (100 µM), and 8-cap strips. Indices are 8 bp in length. The product is shipped on dry ice and should be stored at –30°C to –15°C, remaining good until the expiration date printed on the kit label. Intended for molecular biology applications; not for the diagnosis, prevention, or treatment of a disease.
