PyroMark Q48 Absorber Strips (100)

QIAGEN PyroMark Q48 Absorber Strips are consumables designed for use with the PyroMark Q48 Autoprep instrument, a benchtop Pyrosequencing system with integrated template preparation for advanced methylation, mutation and SNP quantification.

During a run, reagents, nucleotides, buffers and sequencing primers are supplied via cartridges, while the PCR product and magnetic beads are loaded into a specially designed disc. The disc and an absorber strip are then placed into the instrument so that buffers used for template preparation can be efficiently removed from the sample and the disc during the run, without risk of cross-contamination from well to well of one run or from disc to disc between subsequent runs.

The strips are part of the PyroMark Q48 Autoprep workflow, which also supports Multiple Primer Dispensation (MPD) to increase automated sequencing primer dispensation for higher numbers of assays per run, and uses updated "Advanced" chemistry and algorithms to support long, highly accurate read lengths in a single reaction.
