Premix FlexiTube siRNA

QIAGEN's FlexiTube siRNA Premix is an optimized mixture of siRNA and transfection reagent, formulated for one-step siRNA transfection. Premixing the siRNA and reagent saves time by eliminating mixing and complex formation protocol steps, and removes the effort involved in estimating optimal siRNA-to-reagent ratios.

The reagent-to-siRNA ratio in the premix is designed to provide highly efficient transfection and gene knockdown. FlexiTube siRNA Premix is available for human and mouse genes and contains FlexiTube siRNA designed with HP OnGuard siRNA Design for high potency and specificity. The siRNAs are designed using neural-network technology based on a large data set from RNAi experiments, with homology checked against an up-to-date, nonredundant sequence database using a proprietary homology analysis tool.

The product is ready-to-use for cell transfection: it can be added directly to cells and incubated, eliminating the need to dilute siRNA, mix it with transfection reagent, and allow siRNA-reagent complex formation prior to adding complexes to cells. Multiple transfections can be performed from a single premix, reducing variability and enabling consistency across experiments.
