Nuclease-Free Water (5 Liter)

QIAGEN's Nuclease-Free Water is a pure, quality-tested water suitable for all molecular biology applications. The water is prepared through a proprietary in-house process that yields deionized water free of DNases, RNases, and nucleases, without the use of chemical additives such as diethylpyrocarbonate (DEPC). High quality is assured by testing for DNase, RNase, and microbial contamination during the production process. The product is provided in nuclease-free containers and consists of distilled water that is completely free of substances that may fluoresce. At 22 °C, the water has a pH value between 5.0 and 6.5. Because highly pure water lacks sufficient ions or impurities for an exact pH determination, many publications and industry standards do not specify a pH for such water, with measurements generally falling between pH 5 and 8.
