LNA-A(Bz) Amidite (1g)

LNA-A(Bz) Amidite from QIAGEN is a benzoyl (Bz) protected LNA adenine phosphoramidite designed for automated solid-phase oligonucleotide synthesis using standard phosphoramidite chemistry.

As part of the QIAGEN LNA Phosphoramidite range, this amidite enables the synthesis of LNA-containing oligonucleotides intended to enhance affinity and stability of the resulting oligos. The portfolio provides four different nucleobase options (Thymine, 5-methyl-Cytosine, Adenine, and Guanine) with standard protecting groups, allowing synthesis via standard phosphoramidite chemistry using slightly modified protocols.

For handling, the reagent should be kept dry at low temperature (typically −20°C) under an inert atmosphere and dissolved in anhydrous solvents such as dry acetonitrile, in line with standard safety and waste protocols for research and synthesis workflows.
