Glycogen Solution (500 µl)

A QIAGEN accessory reagent designed for use with the Puregene kit workflow. The manufacturer's Puregene Handbook lists Glycogen Solution among the user-supplied materials recommended for processing compromised blood samples and samples with low expected yields. The reagent belongs to the Primary Sample Technology consumables portfolio.

Manufacturer storage instructions specify that Glycogen Solution must be refrigerated or frozen at the temperatures indicated on the label. It is grouped with other Puregene accessories — including RBC Lysis Solution, Cell Lysis Solution, Protein Precipitation Solution, DNA Hydration Solution, RNase A Solution, and Proteinase K — and together these reagents enable manual purification of high-purity, high-molecular-weight (100–200 kb) DNA from a variety of sample types.
