FlexiTube - GeneSolution

QIAGEN's FlexiTube GeneSolution is a gene-specific package of preselected siRNAs intended for RNA Regulation applications. Each solution targets a single gene and is engineered using the innovative HP OnGuard siRNA Design, with ordering handled through the GeneGlobe Web portal. The product is available for human and mouse gene targets.

HP OnGuard siRNA Design draws on neural-network technology based on the BioPredsi algorithm and an extremely large RNAi data set. The design workflow incorporates homology analysis, Affymetrix GeneChip-informed off-target minimization, asymmetry engineering to favour antisense-strand loading into RISC, 3' UTR/seed region analysis, SNP avoidance, and screening against interferon-inducing motifs. Knockdown achieved with siRNAs designed by QIAGEN is typically greater than 70%.

FlexiTube GeneSolution siRNAs are supplied lyophilized in tubes and arrive preannealed, requiring only resuspension in sterile RNase-free water. Full siRNA sequence information is included at no extra charge. QIAGEN recommends HiPerFect Transfection Reagent for low-throughput transfection and HiPerFect HTS Reagent for high-throughput workflows. A one-time-only replacement offer accompanies the product.
