Description
QIAGEN's large-scale Antisense LNA GapmeR belongs to the assay technologies consumables line and is built on locked nucleic acid (LNA) technology for in vivo gene silencing. These single-strand antisense oligonucleotides (ASOs) are designed to enable effective knockdown of mRNA and lncRNA targets in cell culture and animal models.
The mechanism works through RNase H-dependent degradation of complementary RNA targets, allowing specific gene silencing without RISC-related off-target activity.
Large-scale GapmeRs are supplied with custom purity, with standard desalting included. HPLC purification, Na+ exchange, and 3' and 5' FAM labeling are available as options.
