Description
This 5' FAM-labelled control oligonucleotide is supplied by QIAGEN as part of its Antisense LNA GapmeR platform. The control set provides positive and negative controls for gene silencing experiments.
Antisense LNA GapmeRs are antisense oligonucleotides designed to efficiently inhibit the function of mRNA and lncRNA. They are generally 14–16 nucleotides in length and fully phosphorothioated, entering cells via cell membrane surface receptor–mediated uptake. As nuclease-stable nucleic acid analogues, they support both in vitro cell-based experiments and in vivo animal studies.
