25 mM MgCl2

This additional reagent from Solis BioDyne is a magnesium chloride solution supplied for molecular biology applications. It is used to adjust the Mg2+ concentration in PCR assays and is designed to work in combination with the PCR buffers supplied with FIREPol® and HOT FIREPol® products, which are formulated without MgCl2. In some cases, titration of the MgCl2 concentration is recommended to achieve better yield and specificity.

The reagent can be used to optimize MgCl2 concentration, with adjustments possible in 0.25–1 mM increments up to a final 5 mM concentration when required. Routine storage is at -20°C, while temporary storage at room temperature does not adversely affect reagent quality. The product is shipped at room temperature and is manufactured by Solis BioDyne in Tartu, Estonia, operating under ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certified Quality Management Systems.
