10x GC-rich Enhancer

From Solis BioDyne, this reagent functions as a PCR additive designed for difficult GC-rich templates. The optimized solution modifies the melting behaviour of nucleic acids and often enhances amplification of suboptimal PCR systems that contain a high degree of secondary structures and GC-rich regions.

The product should be used at a defined working concentration (1x, 2x or 3x solution) and only when non-specific amplification occurs. Shipping at room temperature has no detrimental effect on reagent quality, while routine storage is recommended at -18ºC to -28ºC. It is intended as an additive for PCR reactions and is for in vitro use only.

Manufactured in compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certified Quality Management Systems, the reagent is supplied for research use only and is not for use in diagnostic procedures. Users are advised to handle the product with appropriate laboratory protective clothing, gloves and safety glasses, and to wash immediately with water in case of contact with skin or eyes.
