Syringe Filter, SFCA, 0.22 _m, 30 mm

From STEMCELL Technologies, this syringe filter is designed for the filtration of aqueous solutions such as buffers, media, and reagents. It incorporates a surfactant-free cellulose acetate (SFCA) membrane that contains no pre-wetting agents and is characterized by low protein binding, reduced extractables, and a low hold-up volume.

The filter has a pore size of 0.22 μm and a diameter of 30 mm, with a female luer lock inlet and a male luer slip outlet. The housing is constructed from virgin polypropylene that meets USP Class VI requirements, and all material resins are qualified using USP and/or ISO 10993 standards for cytotoxicity.

The product is RNase/DNase-free and non-pyrogenic, and is sterilized by gamma irradiation. It is recommended for cell culture applications. It should be stored at 15–25 °C, kept away from direct sunlight and high atmospheric humidity, and remains stable until the expiry date on the manufacturer label. The product is intended for research use only and not for human or animal diagnostic or therapeutic uses.
