Syringe Filter, PTFE, 0.45 _m, 30 mm

The PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) syringe filter from STEMCELL Technologies is designed for degassing and clarifying aqueous samples and for filtering strong acid and alkali solvents. The hydrophobic PTFE membrane offers high temperature resistance, and each filter features a female luer lock inlet and a male luer slip outlet. The housing is constructed from virgin polypropylene that meets USP Class VI requirements, and the filter is certified RNase/DNase-free and non-pyrogenic. All material resins have been qualified using USP and/or ISO 10993 standards for cytotoxicity and have been shown to be non-toxic.

With a pore size of 0.45 µm and a diameter of 30 mm, the filter is sterilized by gamma irradiation and is suitable for cell culture applications. It should be stored at 15 - 25°C and remains stable until the expiry date on the manufacturer label. Direct exposure to sunlight and high atmospheric humidity should be avoided, as these conditions may affect the product's packaging over time.
