Syringe Filter, PVDF, 0.22 _m, 30 mm

A sterile polypropylene syringe filter from STEMCELL Technologies is built around a polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) membrane. The membrane exhibits low protein-binding properties and is suited for use with a wide range of aqueous and mild organic solutions. Each filter has a female luer lock inlet and a male luer slip outlet.

The housing is virgin polypropylene that meets USP Class VI requirements. All material resins are qualified using USP and/or ISO 10993 standards for cytotoxicity and have been shown to be non-toxic. The membrane is RNase/DNase-free and non-pyrogenic, and the filter is sterilized by gamma irradiation. Pore size is 0.22 μm and diameter is 30 mm.

Documented applications include cell culture workflows. Recommended storage is 15–25°C, and the product remains stable until the expiry date on the manufacturer label. Direct exposure to sunlight and high atmospheric humidity should be avoided, as these conditions may impact packaging over time. The product is for research use only.
