Distributed by STEMCELL Technologies, these Axygen® PCR Strip Caps are ultra-clear, flat 8-cap strips intended for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and real-time PCR (qPCR). The caps are RNase/DNase-free, non-pyrogenic, non-sterile, and constructed from clear polypropylene.

The cap design forms a tight seal and reduces sample evaporation. The flat profile allows easy labeling of samples, and the ultra-clear design provides 75% higher light transmittance. The caps are compatible with Axygen® PCR Strip Tubes and Axygen® PCR Microplates. According to the supplier, the ultra-flat 8-cap strips offer an enhanced sealing profile for improved reagent containment and reduced vapor loss during PCR and incubation, and support convenient sample organization and automation.
