Solution C5 (2 x 30 ml)

This QIAGEN reagent is a consumable component of the PowerSoil DNA Isolation Kit, a system designed for isolating genomic DNA from environmental samples, including difficult soil types such as compost, sediment, and manure. In the kit workflow, Solution C5 is applied to the Spin Filter as a wash solution before the bound DNA is eluted.

The kit protocol specifies loading 500 μl of Solution C5 onto the Spin Filter and centrifuging at 10,000 x g for 30 seconds at room temperature.
