SolisFAST® SolisGreen® qPCR Mix (ROX)

A 5X-concentrated, ready-to-use qPCR mix from Solis BioDyne, optimized for fast, highly sensitive and reproducible dye-based real-time PCR assays. The mix contains all components necessary for the reaction except primers, nuclease-free water, and DNA template, and is intended for use on low-ROX qPCR cyclers where ROX serves as a passive reference signal for data normalization.

The formulation includes SolisFAST® DNA Polymerase, an in silico designed analogue of Taq DNA polymerase featuring a Stability TAG genetic modification for enhanced room-temperature stability, fast hot-start activation, and faster extension rates than wild-type Taq. The qPCR buffer provides 7.5 mM MgCl2 (yielding 1.5 mM in a 1X reaction) together with dNTPs (dATP, dCTP, dGTP, dTTP), stabilizers, and enhancers. SolisGreen® is a nucleic acid dye detected in the FAM or SYBR® Green I channel, while ROX is included as an internal passive reference dye for normalization of the fluorescent reporter signal.

For shipping and stability, the product is shipped at room temperature. Routine storage at -20°C (–28°C to –18°C) is recommended until the expiry date; the mix is also stable at 4°C (2°C to 8°C) for 12 months and at room temperature (25°C) for 3 months, with freeze-thaw stability of 30 cycles. The product is manufactured by Solis BioDyne OÜ under an ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certified Quality Management System and is supplied for research use only. Compatible real-time instruments include Applied Biosystems 7500, 7500 Fast, 7900HT Fast, QuantStudio 3, 5, 6 Flex, 7 Flex, 12K Flex, and ViiA 7, as well as Agilent Technologies Mx3000P, Mx3005P, and Mx4000.
