SolisFAST® SolisGreen® qPCR Mix (no ROX)

From Solis BioDyne, this 5x-concentrated qPCR master mix is optimized for fast, highly sensitive and reproducible dye-based assays. It combines an in silico-designed SolisFAST® DNA Polymerase with a Stability TAG system, delivering fast hot-start, increased tolerance to inhibitors, and the SolisGreen® dye within an optimized buffer. Users add only primers, nuclease-free water and DNA template, which reduces reaction set-up time.

The mix is engineered for reliable quantification across technical replicates and consistent performance with both low- and high-copy targets. According to the manufacturer, it delivers reproducible qPCR results up to 2x faster than standard protocols, and a 40-cycle run can be completed in 30 minutes under ultra-fast conditions. It is supported with worldwide ice-free shipping and 3 months of stability at room temperature.

Validated thermal conditions include 30 sec activation at 95°C followed by cycling of 5 sec at 95°C and 20 sec at 60°C, as demonstrated by amplification of a 75 bp B2M gene fragment on a Mic qPCR cycler. Reported amplification performance from this experiment included a slope of -3.347, efficiency of 99.6%, and R² of 0.9895. The mix is compatible with commonly used qPCR instruments including QuantStudio™ 6 Flex (Applied Biosystems), LightCycler® 480 (Roche), CFX96™ (Bio-Rad) and Mic (Bio Molecular Systems).
