SolisFAST® SolisGreen® qPCR Mix (ROX)

A 5X-concentrated, ready-to-use dye-based qPCR mix from Solis BioDyne, optimized for fast, highly sensitive and reproducible real-time PCR assays. The formulation includes an in silico designed analogue of Taq DNA polymerase with enhanced room-temperature stability through a genetic modification (Stability TAG), fast hot-start activation, and faster extension rates compared to the wild-type enzyme. The qPCR buffer supplies 7.5 mM MgCl₂ (yielding 1.5 mM MgCl₂ in a 1X reaction), together with dNTPs (dATP, dCTP, dGTP, dTTP), stabilizers and enhancers that maximize reaction efficiency. Fluorescence is generated by the SolisGreen® nucleic acid dye, detected in the FAM or SYBR® Green I channel, with ROX included as an internal passive reference dye for signal normalization on low-ROX instruments.

The mix contains all components necessary for a reaction except primers, nuclease-free water and DNA template. It is compatible with Applied Biosystems 7500, 7500 Fast, 7900HT Fast, QuantStudio 3, 5, 6 Flex, 7 Flex, 12K Flex and ViiA™ 7, as well as Agilent Mx3000P™, Mx3005P™ and Mx4000™ cyclers. Routine storage is at –20°C (–28°C to –18°C) until the expiry date; the mix is also stable at 4°C (2°C to 8°C) for 12 months and at room temperature (25°C) for 3 months, with freeze-thaw stability of 30 cycles.
