From Antibodies.com, this recombinant LexA repressor protein is expressed in Escherichia coli as a full-length product. It is intended for functional studies, Western blotting (WB), SDS-PAGE analysis, and chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) when used in combination with the Anti-LexA Antibody (A258). The protein is supplied as a liquid at 1 mg/ml concentration, with a stated purity of > 90% (by SDS-PAGE).
The formulation is 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5) containing 2 mM EDTA, 100 mM NaCl, 1 mM DTT, and 50% glycerol. The product is shipped at 4°C; on delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at −20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
