Puregene DNA Hydration Solution (100 ml)

A nuclease-free hydration buffer from QIAGEN, formulated to rehydrate and stabilize purified genomic DNA pellets for long-term storage and downstream molecular applications. The ready-to-use solution supports preparation of DNA for PCR, sequencing, and enzymatic assays and is supplied sterile for use with clean, nuclease-free technique.

In the Puregene workflow, genomic DNA is recovered by alcohol precipitation and dissolved in hydration solution composed of 1 mM EDTA and 10 mM Tris·CI pH 7.5. Resulting DNA typically shows an A260/A280 ratio between 1.7 and 1.9 and is up to 200 kb in size, suitable for archiving and immediate downstream use. Purified DNA can be stored at 2–8°C, –20°C, or –80°C.
