Penta-His Alexa Fluor 647 Conjugate

QIAGEN's Penta·His Alexa Fluor 647 Conjugate is a stabilized stock solution intended for sensitive, direct immunofluorescent detection of recombinant proteins carrying a His tag. The reagent is a Mouse IgG1 antibody that recognizes an epitope of five consecutive histidine residues (HHHHH) and is directly conjugated to Alexa Fluor 647, providing fluorescence with an emission peak at 647 nm.

Cross-reactivity is described as negligible with crude E. coli, yeast, mammalian or insect cell lysates. The conjugate is suited to immunofluorescence procedures including flow cytometry, confocal laser microscopy, immunocytochemistry, immunohistochemistry, protein localization and targeting studies, as well as fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS).
