Veterinary diagnostic and research laboratories working on canine parvovirus can use this liquid antigen preparation from Antibodies.com in ELISA workflows targeting CPV. The antigen supports detection of the virus responsible for canine parvoviral enteritis, a severe and often fatal disease in unvaccinated puppies that causes hemorrhagic diarrhea, vomiting, and lymphoid depletion.
Supplied as a 1 mg liquid aliquot, the reagent is intended for coating microplates in ELISA-based assays. It can be applied to screen canine clinical specimens for viral antigen or to monitor antibody titers in vaccination studies. CPV-2 is the prototype strain, with antigenic variants CPV-2a, CPV-2b, and CPV-2c widely reported in domestic dog populations worldwide.
For best performance, dilute in coating buffer and store refrigerated. Protect from light and minimize freeze-thaw cycles by preparing single-use aliquots. Typical applications include clinical veterinary diagnostics, vaccine research, and epidemiological surveillance in shelters, breeding kennels, and household pets.
