MethoCult Express Racks, 3mL/Vial

Methylcellulose-based medium pre-aliquoted in single-use vials for hematopoietic colony-forming unit (CFU) assays. The Express tube format eliminates the manual dilution step required with traditional bulk methylcellulose: each 3 mL vial is dispensed directly into a 35 mm culture dish, reducing prep time and minimizing contamination risk during high-throughput colony counting, drug screening, and progenitor cell studies.

STEMCELL Technologies' formulation supports erythroid (BFU-E, CFU-E), myeloid (CFU-GM, CFU-G), and multipotent (CFU-GEMM) progenitor colonies from human bone marrow, cord blood, peripheral blood, and mouse bone marrow samples. Applications include in vitro hematotoxicity testing, characterization of hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells, and enumeration of colony-forming cells in mobilized peripheral blood products.
