Corning CoolCell LX Container, Pink

An alcohol-free polyethylene foam freezing container designed for standardized cryopreservation of most cells and cell lines. The non-absorbent foam allows for uniform freezing, and when used with a -80°C freezer the container provides reproducible freezing at the rate of -1°C/minute. Each freezing container can hold 12 standard 1 - 2 mL cryogenic vials. The construction combines polyethylene foam with a solid thermo-conductive core, and the Pink unit has a diameter of 11.7 cm, a height of 9.9 cm, and a well diameter of 12.7 mm. Recommended storage is at 15 - 25°C.
