QIAGEN's Investigator STR GO! Punch Buffer is a lysis reagent formulated to release DNA from sample punches within the Investigator STR GO! punch workflow and enable efficient downstream STR amplification. The buffer is optimized to reduce PCR inhibitors and to simplify sample preparation for forensic and genetic-testing laboratories.

According to the manufacturer's validation certificate, the product has been validated for forensic casework, paternity testing, and other human identity testing applications, following recommendations from the European Network of Forensic Science Institutes (ENFSI) and the Scientific Working Group on DNA Analysis Methods (SWGDAM).
