Horseradish Peroxidase-Labeled Fentanyl Conjugate for Immunoassay Development
Supplied by Antibodies.com, this Fentanyl-HRP Antigen is a horseradish peroxidase-labeled fentanyl derivative prepared as a 1 ml liquid in Enzyme Stabilizing Diluent. The pre-conjugated format lets researchers drop the reagent directly into competitive ELISA workflows without performing their own hapten-HRP coupling, which simplifies assay development for small-molecule targets.
Typical research applications include anti-fentanyl antibody screening, vaccine immunogenicity studies, and the validation of competitive immunoassays designed to detect fentanyl or anti-fentanyl immunoglobulin responses. Because fentanyl is a low-molecular-weight hapten, the conjugate is generally deployed in a competitive binding format in which labeled and unlabeled antigen compete for a limited number of antibody binding sites.
The vial is shipped refrigerated and should remain refrigerated between uses to preserve the enzymatic activity of the HRP label. The 1 ml working volume can be titrated against a chosen capture antibody and coating antigen to optimize signal-to-noise for a specific plate reader and substrate combination.
