Sterile and disposable, this baffled Erlenmeyer flask is offered by STEMCELL Technologies and manufactured by Corning for use in cell culture and sample storage workflows. It features a filtered vent cap with a 0.2 µm microporous polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) membrane, making it well suited for shaker culture applications such as the culture of CHO cells, as well as for general sample storage.

The flask body is constructed from virgin polycarbonate and the cap from virgin polypropylene. It is certified RNase-/DNase-free and non-pyrogenic, and is sterilized by gamma irradiation. With dimensions of 115 x 65.5 mm (height x widest diameter) and a 125 mL capacity, the flask supports applications including tissue dissociation, cell culture, sample storage, and bacterial culture. It should be stored at 15-25°C and remains stable until the expiry date on the manufacturer label.
