EasySep RBC Lysis Buffer, 10mL

From STEMCELL Technologies, EasySep™ Red Blood Cell Lysis Buffer is a 10X concentrated reagent supplied for use as a laboratory reagent in immunomagnetic cell isolation workflows. The concentrate is stored at 15 - 25°C and remains stable until the expiry date printed on the label. Once diluted to a 1X working solution, the buffer should be stored at 2 - 8°C without freezing and is usable for up to 3 months, provided the expiry date of the original component has not been exceeded. Components may be shipped at room temperature (15 - 25°C) but should be stored as indicated above.

The 1X working solution is prepared at least one hour before use by mixing 1 part of the 10X concentrate with 9 parts of distilled or Type 1 water, then mixing gently and completely. In EasySep™ positive selection protocols, the 1X buffer is added to the whole blood sample at a volume equal to the sample. According to the safety data sheet, the product is not classified as a hazardous substance or mixture under the Globally Harmonized System (GHS), although it may cause mild skin irritation; the formulation includes glycerol and ammonium chloride. The reagent is supplied for research use only and is not intended for human or animal diagnostic or therapeutic uses unless otherwise stated.
