Description
A wash buffer with an azide preservative, designed for use with QIAGEN purification protocols. Buffer AW2 with Azid is used in silica membrane and magnetic-bead nucleic acid purification workflows to remove salts and contaminants before elution. Ethanol should be added to the buffer where indicated by the protocol.
