Buffer ATL ( 4 x 50 ml)

A lysis buffer from QIAGEN, intended for sample lysis using QIAsymphony DSP Virus/Pathogen complex protocols and QIAsymphony DSP DNA tissue protocols. The buffer supports purification of nucleic acids when used with QIAsymphony DSP Virus/Pathogen Kits and the QIAsymphony DSP DNA Mini Kit.

All complex protocols on the QIAsymphony DSP Virus/Pathogen platform require Buffer ATL, which is supplied separately from those kits. Complex protocols are designed for respiratory samples such as dried swabs and transport media, as well as urogenital samples including urine and transport media.

The buffer is optimized for efficient disruption and lysis of tissue and cultured cells prior to DNA purification, yielding clean lysates suitable for downstream applications such as PCR and sequencing.
