Developed for immunoassay research against the triazine herbicide atrazine, this lyophilized, salt-free hapten-carrier conjugate from Antibodies.com couples atrazine to bovine serum albumin (BSA), giving the small pesticide molecule the size and epitope density it needs to raise useful antibodies and to function as a plate-coating antigen in ELISA workflows.
Each vial contains 1 mg of the lyophilized conjugate. It is supplied without added salt, which simplifies direct reconstitution into PBS, bicarbonate coating buffer, or other working buffers at the concentration a given protocol calls for. Researchers use the product as an immunogen for producing polyclonal or monoclonal anti-atrazine antibodies in host animals, as a coating reagent for competitive and indirect ELISA, and as a reference material during assay development and validation.
For handling, the dry conjugate is stable refrigerated and protected from light until first use; once reconstituted, it should be stored frozen in working aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles. Typical downstream use is ELISA-based detection of atrazine residues in water, soil, and agricultural or food samples.
